MARCON 2024
We're Hosting a Workshop - Demystifying Predictive Maintenance!
Novity will be exhibiting at MARCON 2024, the 28th annual Maintenance and Reliability Conference hosted by The University of Tennessee Reliability and Maintainability Center on March 4-7 in Knoxville, TN at the Knoxville Convention Center. This is an important event for professionals to collaborate one-on-one with presenters, exhibitors, and other attendees in the field.
Come visit us in booth #29 and learn more about Novity’s PdM Readiness Assessment!
Novity's Director of Advanced Development, Daniel Nelson and Senior Sales Engineer, Robert Marsh will be hosting a workshop focusing on Demystifying Predictive Maintenance - Time: 8:00am-11:30am, Tuesday, March 5th
Overview
This workshop is intended for maintenance, reliability and operations professionals. The primary learning objective of the workshop is to provide attendees with a better understanding of predictive maintenance PdM) and how it compares with other maintenance approaches, helping practitioners make sense of the often-confusing use of terms like PdM, condition-based maintenance and condition monitoring. The workshop will also cover the different technologies available that enable PdM and some of the factors to consider when determining whether a PdM program should be implemented. Attendees will understand what it means to implement a truly predictive maintenance program.
Learning Objectives
Participants in this workshop will be able to understand and apply the following concepts after completing the workshop:
- The differences between predictive maintenance and other maintenance approaches, such as preventative or time-based maintenance, condition-based maintenance, etc.
- The available technologies that support or enable predictive maintenance.
- Requirements for a PdM monitoring solution that maximizes value for your maintenance program.
- Guidelines for determining when PdM is appropriate as compared to other maintenance approaches.
We hope to see you there!
